• SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the assembly of various types of commercial seating while meeting production requirements as well as maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform repetitive line or bench assembly operations to mass-produce products, such as height adjusters, suspensions, and complete commercial seating systems.
• Assemble products in compliance with quality standards.
• Meet daily production requirements.
• Maintain clean and safe workstations – 5S.
• Maintain standardized work.
• Follow Lean principles
• Adherence to IMS.
• Various duties and special projects as required.

• EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common instructional documents. Ability to respond with good verbal and written communication.

• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measures.

• REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer. Required travel will consist of traveling from plant to plant (Isringhausen, Supplier, Customer), including international travel may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.85 per hour
