Job description

The Production Assembler I performs assembly and packaging of goods for freight and parcel shipment of various components in a warehouse environment. This role generally works ten-hour shifts Monday – Thursday with Friday - Sunday off. May work overtime, as needed. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assembles and packs components and associated hardware.
• Read and interpret job orders, manufacturing drawings, work instructions and inspection standards for the production of quality parts and components.
• Uses hand operated manual and power tools to install, tighten and adjust fasteners to specified torque.
• Properly record and maintain work documents such as job orders and quality forms, etc.
• Safely operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
• Organizes, maintains and cleans production and warehouse spaces.
• Understand and adhere to job related ISO 9001 & 14001 standards and policies.
• Adhere to established safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts of increased safety, quality, delivery, as well as cost reduction through active cross functional communication.
• Quality Commitment – Individually and as a team member support Sy-Klone’s purpose and vision, with a daily focus on compliance to Sy-Klone systems, policies and procedures, supported by a continuous quality and process improvement mindset.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong reading and writing skills..
• Ability to do basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
• Ability to safely and efficiently use basic shop tools such as portable power tools, tape measures, wrenches, and screw drivers.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.25 per hour
