Job Summary:

The Product Content Specialist owns the company product data relationships with our highest potential eCommerce customers and brings the voice of the customer to all areas of our business. This individual drives results that tie back to strategic business goals for specific customer accounts, the Data Syndication & Customer Success team, and organizational.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns relationship with key accounts as sole owner of product data delivery with ever-deepening knowledge of customers’ business processes, communicating key learnings with internal teams to foster exceptional partnerships.
  • Partners cross-functionally with account management and channel marketing team to facilitate onboarding for new retailers, product activations and updates, account best practices and offering optimization.
  • Proactively manages and coordinates product data updates through assigned retailers, ensuring product catalog and attribution is complete for customer.
  • Initiates content requests and ensures timely and accurate delivery to customers, working with members of cross-functional teams.
  • In close collaboration with internal and external teams, develops and executes online merchandising and promotional programs.
  • Monitors retailer websites for data completeness and accuracy, driving continuous data improvement requests with appropriate internal teams, with KPI tracking.
  • Maps customer required data attributes to Zurn Elkay internal attributes in PIM, creating custom functions as required, for dynamic, on-demand data delivery to accounts.
  • Manages and updates data standards based on vendor, retailer, SEO and market trends/feedback.
  • Analyzes data from customer reporting tools to identify trends, recommends products for customer activation, create promotions, optimize brand presence and improve conversion.
  • Designs, manages and analyzes category plans for eCommerce.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, defining solutions and influencing their rollout.
  • Governs and manages content for import/export into/from an enterprise-grade data management system, including maintenance, quality standards, naming, and file-type consistency from both internal and external sources.
  • Participate in related special projects and new initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience within sales or marketing in the manufacturing or matrix environment required.
  • Previous experience with keyword optimization and working within a PIM platform.
  • Experience with wholesale customer data platforms preferred (Vendor Central, IDM, Syndigo, etc.).
  • Prior experience or knowledge of commercial plumbing products, or building materials preferred.
  • Strong project management experience, delivering complex sets of information to a scheduled deadline, with high attention to detail.
  • A highly organized, mature problem-solver with sharp business acumen and ability to assimilate data and recommend next steps for continuous improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring accurate and complete product data.
  • Able to instill a deep sense of confidence with your accounts through exceptional customer service, and delivery on commitments.
  • Proactive, energetic and goal driven with a desire to grow your career through innovation.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (filters, pivot, text to column, formulas, etc.).
  • Must possess an understanding of the trends, needs, innovations, and pace of the eCommerce.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and foster cross-functional teams without formal authority, at all levels.
  • Highly motivated with strong initiative and a hands-on approach to accomplishing goals.
