Job description

Role: Support production in meeting daily requirements by maintaining presses, conveyors cranes and other basic maintenance activities.

Responsibilities: Perform bi-weekly and monthly inspections on all presses. Perform all monthly inspections on scrap conveyors. Perform and support basic maintenance activities. Work with Stamping Maintenance technician to learn technical skills that is needed to develop to become a Stamping Maintenance Technician. Support Stamping Maintenance MRO.

Job Description:

· Follow all safety policies and correct use of all PPE

· Perform bi-weekly inspections on all presses and report findings in PLEX inspection report.

· Perform monthly inspections on all presses and report findings in PLEX inspection report.

· Perform monthly inspections on all scrap conveyors and report findings in PLEX inspection report.

· Support shutdown activities.

· Verify needed spare parts are on hand and stocked. Items that are not controlled by MRO may need to be added.

· Perform basic maintenance activities, which may include basic wiring or similar activities.

· All work should be recorded in Plex. This should include what work was done and how long.

Program Schedule: Associate can be in this position for a maximum of 2 years. Upon completion of 2 year apprenticeship, associate must have developed skill to advance to Technician Level. Otherwise, associate will be stepped back to general associate status

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.90 - $22.90 per hour
