Are you looking for a part time role where you can make a difference to people’s lives collecting prescriptions from GP surgeries. This will ensure that our customers are getting the personal medical appliances that they require to live their life.

Coloplast are the world’s leading Medtech Company based in the UK. We have a fantastic part-time opportunity to join our team in Belfast, reporting directly to the Team Leader. This role is for an owner driver to ensure that prescriptions are collected from GP Surgeries in Northern Ireland. This role is for 15 hours per week but will require flexibility if work volume fluctuates.

The role

This is a part time position as a Prescription Collection & Delivery Driver in Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for the collection of patient prescriptions from GP Surgeries in Northern Ireland. This is an important role where you will be required to work to the organisation's strong mission, vision and values, having the customer at the forefront of everything you do. You will be paid an hourly rate of £10.14 per hour.

Please note, this role requires you to have your own vehicle and you will be reimbursed for your business mileage at the HMRC rate.

Typical Responsibilities

Along with the team of prescription collection drivers ensuring safe and efficient collection and delivery of prescriptions
Contact GP surgeries to arrange prescription collection and manage any prescription discrepancies, if required
Provision of a safe and efficient collection and delivery of prescriptions/ stock from GP Surgeries, Hospitals / patient’s homes and other sites as required
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date log of prescriptions collected & transferred to Charter Healthcare. Log to be submitted to the Line Manager on a weekly basis
Respectful communication with the Line Manager and colleagues about work tasks at all times
Report late deliveries and collections to the Line Manager immediately
Maintain accurate records (including retaining proof of purchase to be sent to finance department), of any expenditure incurred (with prior approval), and submit these records on weekly basis.
Ensure that data is kept confidential in line with GDPR
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager

Requirements:
Full driving licence
Delivery & Collection work
Customer service experience, including communicating to customers over the phone
