Garvies Point Brewery & Restaurant are Seeking Line cooks, prep cooks & Sous Chefs for a busy, waterfront, brewery restaurant with modern American cuisine. Ideal candidate would be comfortable working as a team, following the chef's direction.

Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and organize cooking stations in the kitchen for yourself and other chefs

· Cook menu items that senior chefs assign to you

· Complete presentation of dishes to be sent to restaurant guests

· Cooperate with other kitchen staff; especially chefs

· Ensure that dishes are timed correctly for parties of restaurant guests

· Comply with health and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

· Proven cooking experience; including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or grill cook

· Excellent understanding of different cooking ingredients, methods, equipment, and procedures

· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

· Familiar with industry's best practices

· Great communication and organizational skills

· Must be 18+ years of age

· Must be reliable

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
