SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for daily preparation of menu items, made to order
  • Maintains a clean and well-organized station all times.
  • Responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP’s and teammates
  • Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy when dealing with customers and co- workers
  • Performs duties in compliance with company policies as well as all Federal, State and Local safety and health standards as well as the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Adheres to Food & Beverage uniform policy; maintains a safe work environment for all employees, and complies with Wildwood Casino Policies and procedures, as well as Health Department and OSHA policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepares all food items directed in a sanitary and timely manner; ensures quality taste and appearance.
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by F&B Management.
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
  • Demonstrates understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed. Responsibilities for the daily preparation of food items.
  • Sets up station as directed by Executive Chef.
  • Prepares meals in a manner which ensures quality appearance and taste. Maintains a clean and well-organized kitchen al all times.
  • Wears and maintains all uniforms properly.
  • Complies with established security policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed. Prepares all food items directed in a sanitary and timely manner.

  • Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must attend Mandatory Guest Service and New Employee Orientation Must be able to work any shift assigned including but not limited to days, swing, grave, weekends, and/ or holidays unless otherwise specified

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent; three-to-six month’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Able to read, comprehend, and interpret simple instructions, correspondence, memos, and documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and procedures and maintenance instructions.
  • Able to write routine simple correspondence.
  • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and Employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in small units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Able to apply common sense, patience and understanding while carrying out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
  • Able to deal with and present problem-solving ideas that involves concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Colorado Gaming License is not required.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Strong guest service skills and the ability to ask questions and apply deductive reasoning and listening skills are essential.
