Pre-Painter - 1st shift Requirements Overtime Reference Check Background Check Travel Drug Test Security Clearance Description: This is a day shift Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm and Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and Saturday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. Friday. Essential Functions: Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean. Follow all safety rules including wearing proper PPE Using handheld power tools to clean/vibrate material in preparation for being painted. Assist in hanging material on the paint line. Assist in removing material from the paint line and moving it to the correct location for assembly. Clean/paint galvanized products. Willing to learn to paint. BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ROLE: Poses and can use inspection equipment to ensure the quality of the parts being produced. Must be equipped with all required tools to perform the functions of their job. Physically able to do the work requiring frequent standing, bending, and lifting to 20 lbs. frequently and 40 60 lbs. occasionally. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Welders ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing protective gloves, masks, and boots. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate the machine and inspect parts. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. Must be able to pass the respiratory test per OSHA requirements. Assist all supervisors and perform other duties as needed and directed.
