Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Patient Access, the Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of Valley Heart Institute, supervises the Clinical Support Front Office Staff. Implements change as needed, responsible for interviewing/hiring applicants, evaluating the performance of employees including performance management up to and including termination of employment, creates and updates policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School diploma preferred.

Minimum Experience/Skills:

• Three years of admitting/outpatient registration supervisory/management experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged, extensive or considerable sitting
• Lift/position up to 25 lbs. Push/pull up to 25 lbs of force.
• Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Manual dexterity and mobility
• Touch, auditory and visual perception and acuity
• Adequate vocal pitch and volume

Vision Requirements: Sufficient perceptive acuity (vision and hearing) to perform all the related duties of the position

Pay Range: $35.32 - $54.75

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
