We are looking for an exceptional Generator Technician with diesel engine experience in the Melbourne area. We are looking for a self motivated, energetic person who has excellent communication skills and wants to grow in this trade.
Requirements of Power Generator Technician:
- 5+ years of commercial experience preferred
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Experience with Cummins and Onan Generators is a plus
Responsibilities of Power Generator Technician:
- Experience with programming and diagnosing engine problems
- Working on tier 4 engines
- Working on generators
- Load bank testing, switchgear, ATS, and paralleling
- Preventative maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, replacing filters, etc.
