The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, invites applications from motivated individuals to a post-doctoral scholar position in cancer health disparities and survivorship research. This position is designed to prepare researchers for careers as independent investigators engaged in cancer prevention, control, and disparities research. Our team has expertise in biobehavioral and cancer care delivery research in the areas of genetic risk communication and testing, cancer screening, health disparities and cancer survivorship. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Implementation and dissemination of ongoing research and obtaining preliminary data for grant submissions.
  • Training and supervising students.
  • Writing and submitting manuscripts in peer-related journals.
  • Development and writing of research grant applications.
