WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
The position of Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for unloading shipments, filling active orders, and general housekeeping. Associate will ensure received orders are filled and shipments are unloaded in a timely and accurate fashion while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Sort products by location, product number and description. Label product and restock product.
- Unload truck shipments efficiently and effectively.
- Fill and pick active orders.
- Perform job task as assigned by Manager.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Restock work station with appropriate supplies as needed.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with company, OSHA and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace.
- Communicate all process questions, problems and needs to Manager for resolution.
- Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience working in shipping/receiving preferred.
- Basic computer skills to include ability to use warehouse management system (WMS) and excel.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English so as to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and to read orders.
- Ability to complete basic math to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
- Highly organized and strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work in fast pace environment and meet daily productivity standards.
- Ability to work overtime during work week and weekends.
- Ability to comply with company attendance policy.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
