We are growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Atlanta team. The Portfolio Analyst will assist with the account trading processes using Orion trading platforms, as well as ensure accurate and efficient trading of client accounts during the account life-cycle. This includes assigning and trading new accounts to models, maintaining accurate adherence to models, implementing model changes, fulfilling advisor trade requests, and reconciling trades to ensure accuracy. The training/onboarding period is fully in office; afterwards, this role is hybrid, three days in office, two days remote.
The salary target for this role is $70,000-90,000; this position is eligible for an annual bonus.

Primary Job Functions
Assist in managing the process flows between the advisor teams, operations, compliance, and investments to ensure consistent, accurate and timely investing of client accounts
  • Process the bulk trading associated with model changes and tax loss harvesting
  • Manage daily cash flows in client accounts
  • Monitor client portfolios for deviation
  • Fulfill trade requests from Client Services and Advisor Teams
  • Trade reconciliation / trade error resolution
Utilize trading software for efficient and accurate trade execution
  • Attain and maintain expert level knowledge with trading software and its capabilities
  • Use software to maximize efficiencies and support investment objectives
Provide support to advisor teams to aid in client retention and acquisition
  • Create reports (such as in Morningstar) of current models
  • Complete 401(k) allocation requests
  • Answer advisor team questions about products, the investment process, and complex account issues
Education/Qualifications
  • 4-year degree in business, finance or economics
  • 2+ years of trading experience, knowledge of financial products
  • Demonstrated experience working in a RIA environment
  • Working knowledge of trading platforms; Orion preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Takes time to research and confirm account discrepancies without making assumptions; think through trade requests and proactively ask advisors for clarity where appropriate
