Department: Housekeeping

Job Title: Housekeeper/Porter

Status: FULL TIME

Hours: 1PM-9PM

Position Start Date: 4/11/2023

Description:

• Ability to follow oral directions
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions from supervisor, and as outlined in our established policy and procedures
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping and/or in a long term care facility preferred.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
• Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
• Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
• Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
