Job description
Pool Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, enforcing policies and procedures which ensure efficient and effective operation of pool facilities including personnel management and swim training. Duties involve all swimming pool operations, including first aid, rotations, scheduling of staff, public relations, janitorial duties, limited pool maintenance, pool cleaning, cleaning of restroom and concession area, daily attendance records and all other duties as necessary or required. Must have excellent organizational, communication and public relations skills. This is a working supervisory position and requires working weekends and holidays.
Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. General management experience preferred. CPR Certificate recommended. Must have and maintain a valid Texas Driver's License. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Punctuality and regular attendance are required. Must be able to work Wednesday through Sunday (or as assigned by Parks & Recreation Director) to assist with pool management.
Required to pass a criminal history check, credit check, thorough background investigation, work fitness physical and drug screen.
