Police Services Representatives serve a critical role in relaying information to Officers. However, this position is not the same as a 911 telecommunicator; emergency calls are handled by a different department. This position helps the community by communicating with individuals in-person and over the phone, writing police reports that will be used to help solve crimes, and by quickly providing essential information to Officers in the field.

City employees enjoy great benefits, including the following:
  • Employee health insurance premiums 100% paid for by the City;
  • Great pension that doesn't cost you anything;
  • A free gym at work with upgraded equipment to use 24/7;
  • Tuition reimbursement;
  • And more... check out our benefits here.
Ideal candidates will have strong multi-tasking abilities, verbal and written communication skills, and a high attention to detail. If this describes you, apply today!

This position is critical to operations and there are three shifts (shift preference determined by seniority.) These shifts include the following:
  • Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday:
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

There are no exceptions or guarantees made regarding shift assignment. Applicants must be open and available for any shift if applying for this position.
