PLC Technician - 3rd Shift

• 3rd Shift position - 10 pm to 6 am
• Troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logic
• Read and evaluate electrical schematics
• Troubleshoot using meters, laptop, schematics and manuals
• Motivated to continuous improvement in the process to maintain optimum operation conditions and plant productivity
• Work independently and take ownership while working in a team environment
• Demonstrate customer focus by continually exceeding customer expectations
• Programming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems (PLC’s, HMI’s, robotics, drives and computers)
• Modifications and improvements to automation equipment
• Review work orders and receives verbal instructions on job assignments
• Respond to emergency requests for immediate repairs
• Maintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activities
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures following established program
• Promotes teamwork in troubleshooting events
• Other duties as assigned

• 2 years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 2 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• 1 year Siemens PLC S7-300 hardware and programming experience preferred, other PLC platforms are acceptable
• 1 year Fanuc robotic programming experience preferred
• Proven understanding of electronics, computer, and automation technologies
• Proven ability to read and interpret equipment repair and installation manuals, wiring schematics, and drawings
• Proven electrical experience, including ability to run wire and troubleshoot electrical applications
• Proven ability to use test and measuring equipment such as multimeter
