Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Platform Integration Engineer, you will drive IT systems integration for the Solutions Engineering team and provide guidance on processes to empower the Product Development team. You will be a key contributor for managing the end-to-end systems integration for devices across the DISH portfolio of products. Platform Integration Engineers will play a critical role in the design and engineering for fulfillment and service enablement solutions across the DISH portfolio of products.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities for a Platform Integration Engineer
  • Work with platform owners, vendors and product manufacturers to identify new features/enhancements
  • Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that detail use-cases and technical requirements outlining required platform functionality needed in support of product capabilities.
  • Meet with various IT and business stakeholders to identify business, system and process improvement opportunities
  • Own platform technology roadmap including cross-functional dependencies
  • Partner with IT and Network to drive end-to-end platform architecture
  • Define required platform or product specifications, data mapping, network diagrams, process flows and test plans for developers and testers to follow
  • Create targeted system analysis documentation and enterprise architecture diagrams for delivery and operational support teams as well as executive alignment
  • Provide application and process subject matter expertise for business partners and IT technical resources
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Information Systems, Telecommunications, Business (or equivalent) with proficiency in the English language OR equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform integration or system analysis
  • 1+ years of experience in mobile product certification processes including industry leading practices (e.g. regulatory requirements, standards roadmaps).
  • Analysis experience with modern web technologies including web services APIs, JSON, AWS and with relational and MongoDb database technologies
  • Previous experience with supply chain related applications, wireless, or OSS/BSS desirable
  • Rally / CA Agile Central experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience using Agile processes and methodologies
  • Ability to plan for future while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing priorities
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing a computer screen.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may occasionally include nights and weekends. Limited same day travel required with some overnight stays.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
