This is an exciting Primary Care opportunity at our offices in Sycamore, IL and Elgin, IL for a a PA/NP with Internal Medicine/Family Medicine experience to join our successful medical practice. We practice traditional medicine and see patients in the office, hospitals, and nursing home. This opportunity is for outpatient in the office as well as at skilled nursing facilities.

We are looking for a team player to diagnose and treat health conditions as well as promote good health practices under collaborative agreement with a Physician. The job description includes but is not limited to conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab results, and overseeing patients' health. You will be both a health practitioner and an educator supporting disease prevention practices and helping patients lead healthy lives. As a team member, you will receive all the support that you need as well have the autonomy to practice medicine and make patient care decisions.

Schedule: M-F, 1 half day Saturday a month. No after hours calls or weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

· Examine Patients and Review their medical records/Complete Charts

· Order and Review diagnostic tests

· Diagnose health conditions and illnesses

· Prescribe medications

· Educate patients and their family members on disease and prevention

· Promote good health practices

Skills

· Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic

· Knowledge of health and patient care regulations

· Excellent communication skills

. Spanish is a plus but not required

· Strong ethics

· Positive attitude

· Patience

Qualifications:

• Actively Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois
• Active Controlled Substance License
• Active DEA License
• Board Certification
• Internal Medicine Experience highly desired
• Skilled Nursing experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
