Overview:
Location: 2650 North Tenaya Way Las Vegas, NV 89128
** Up to an $8,000 sign on bonus **
Dignity Health in Las Vegas is seeking a FULL time physical therapist for our outpatient orthopedic location in the Summerlin section of the city. We have a large multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and assistants treating a mix of teens through geriatrics. An ideal physical therapist has previous outpatient orthopedic experience but we ARE open to consider new graduate physical therapists wanting to get in on the ground floor of a stable clinician managed OP ortho company. Our caseload is diverse to include sports medicine, high level neuro and post-op ortho with growing specialty programs of amputee and concussion/vestibular. We offer mentoring towards clinical specialization in orthopedics or sports (OCS, SCS) to keep your skills sharp! This is a full time 40 hour work week made of five eight-hour days treating 10AM until 7PM. Your schedule will include an occasional half day Saturday, typically once per month, for our active population.

Required Credentials:
- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy.
- Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
- Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.
- Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
- Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
