We are seeking Pharmacy Tech's to work in a warehouse location in Mt Prospect, IL. Hours are 12:30pm-9pm CST Monday-Friday.

**MUST be comfortable in a WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT and have a IL PHARM TECH LICENSE- HAVE 1 YEAR TO BECOME CERTIFIED**
(If you already have a National Pharmacy Tech Certification you must obtain IL license before first day of employment)

As a Pharmacy Technician in the Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will work in a fulfillment capacity to ensure that our patients receive life sustaining specialty drug therapy. The pharmacy tech's will start packaging pill prescriptions only. Once they are comfortable with the process, they will move on to learn to prepare and package more complex medications over a period of time, pending performance, increasing the complexity of the medications . Will be using automated pill counting machine (EYECON). Training will be provided.

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, responsibilities will be to select, prepare and package medications and supplies in preparation for shipment.

* At least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift (8-10 hours). Will be using adjustable tables, but will always be standing and moving.

Must be able to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs tote boxes and medication boxes for duration of shift.

Reaching and grasping objects at various levels is required.

Education: Verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.40 per hour
