Job Description

Compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment. Responsible for transferring prescriptions, handling incoming physician calls, logging data into the computer, and Drug Utilization Review. Requires a degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and BLS certificate. Pharm.D preferred. Requires licensed (or immediately eligible for such) as a registered pharmacist by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Re-certification in sterile products preparation. At least 2 years of healthcare system Pharmacy experience is preferred. This position requires mandatory shift rotation between day, evening and night shift. Open flexibility for work various shifts is a must.

Experience/ Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Pharmacy technician certification preferred
  • Six months experience preferred
