Job Title: Pharmacy Shipping Clerk 1

Location: Lake Mary, FL 32746

Duration: 12 Months

Pay-Rate: $15.87/Hr. on W2

Client: LabCorp

Shift: 8.30 to 5.00 or 10.30 to 7.00. Will decide on which schedule to assign based on current headcount.

Summary:

The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for various duties related to packing and shipping of pharmaceutical products for Specialty Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk must adhere to the safety practices of the pharmacy to ensure quality of care for patients.

Essential Job Duties:

• Package product, patient paperwork and any additional materials accurately and efficiently to the manufacturer’s requirements.
• Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products based on USP 800 guidelines.
• Demonstrate a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function.
• Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Experience:

Minimum Required:

• Ideally have 1-2 years of shipping or warehouse experience in a healthcare or pharmacy work experience.

Experience/knowledge/skill in:

• Efficient in using email programs, instant messaging communications, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Attention to detail
• Experience with non-commercial pharmacy.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, Adaptability, and flexibility.
• Efficient typing skills.

Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses Minimum Required:

• The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Efficiently work in a high pace environment that always requires attention to details.
• Effectively multitask and handle multiple requests at the same time.
• Easily navigate between multiple computer programs with dexterity.
• Able to sit, stand, use computer screens for extended periods of time.
• Capable of lifting 50lbs as needed.
