Woodmark Pharmacy Billing in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Billing Office Manager to join our team! Great Opportunity for someone with Long Term Care Pharmacy or Healthcare Management experience to advance their career!

Shift: M-F 8am-4pm; Extended hours, occasional night shift, week-end and/or travel may be required
- Oversees daily operations of pharmacy billing office that bills for LTC, ALF, IL and ADH facilities in NY, MA, RI and CT.
- Direct reports — Billing Specialists; daily supervision of staff
- Scheduling and payroll.
- Ensure training of new staff. Update Billing process directions as needed
- Allocate Staffing assignments/resources where needed to meet time line requirements.
- Manage daily, weekly monthly task are performed timely /correctly
- Solid working knowledge of Facility, Medicaid and Third Party/Insurance billing,
- Create Third Party and Unit Dose composite billing daily.
- Create Customer billing month end invoices.
- Bi-weekly & month end Preliminary Verification report reviews produced by Billing Specialists
- Review & Process Private Pay refunds
- Review & Process Adjustments and Write offs for close.
- Review monthly unbilled report, Medicaid Billing over 120 re-Bills
- Back up Pharmacy charges in system and paid by A/P
- Ensure Billing Best Practices are followed for each type of billing: Per Diem, Split Billing, Cycle Batches and Standardized Billing by Billing Specialists
- Coordinate Close — Time line with Staff and Pharmacy Operations
- Payor Code verification — Every 3 Months with SNF Customers
- Third Party Audits-Cover when needed
- Etastic Software — Private Statement uploads
- Involved with new customer GoToMeeting Billing Introduction.
- Work with Revenue Cycle Manager, Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Accounting Team.
- Knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations; ability to effectively manage issues to limit legal liability; make proactive recommendations by using judgment that is consistent with standards, policies, procedures.
- Projects as needed
- Customer Service orientated (external and internal)
10 years Long Term Care pharmacy billing or 5 years healthcare management experience.
Excellent Customer Service and Phone Skills required
Sage (ACCPAC), NET Rx and Framework LTC software experience preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Work and Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated with ability to effectively solve problems
