This is a full-time position with Tecknomic and the project is with the Department of Health Care Finance-DHCF DCAS. This is a remote role. Please note, in order to apply for this position, you must be able to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination.

The Performance Tester will be responsible for supporting the performance related all phases of programs/projects from inception through completion focusing on the development of strong business requirements and functional design.

This position is housed under the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) in direct support of the DC Access System (DCAS). The Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, modifying, and managing automated performance testing scripts. S/he must be able to communicate effectively in collaboration with the systems and development teams to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues. The individual will be part of the Performance Testing team. Following are the responsibilities:
1. Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry standard testing tools. Executes performance test, analyze and evaluate test results; generate performance metric reports and provide recommendations.
2. Assists with analyzing test and operational problems to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Reports errors through a structured defect tracking process. Communicates weekly with management verbally and via written detail status report regarding potential problems and concerns.
The Core duties associated with the role are as follows:
•    Identify the performance requirements.
•    Define performance testing metrics acceptable to District.
•    Performance test script preparation using LoadRunner.
•    Parameterize the test and apply correlation to the scripts.
•    Script execution in Controller for Load, Volume, Stress and Scalability scenarios
•    Identify bottleneck in performance test execution in Application Server, Database and Network
•    Analyze Logs, Metrics and works with Dev, Test, Architecture and Network teams
•    Strong communication both verbal and written.
•    Java Development and SQL experience is big plus.

10. Proven hands-on technical work with a variety of technologies.
11. Demonstrated technical expertise integrating a variety of diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies.
12. Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.
13. Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
14. Advanced experience in the required technical subject matter.
15. May function as a niche technical SME (Subject Matter Expert).
16. Has proven experience across large and complex implementations and systems.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements    :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
