Pendleton Convention Center Temporary, part-time laborer
Job description
The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for temporary, part-time laborers to work on an on-call basis at the Pendleton Convention Center. The position is responsible for helping with set up of tables, chairs, and other room arrangements, plus cleaning public restrooms, waste disposal and minor maintenance duties as needed. Experience in commercial custodial work or maintenance is preferred. Position requires walking, bending, stooping, and lifting. Must be able to work well with the public, assist with customer service needs during events, and be available for opening and closing building (odd hours/all days of the week). Requires valid Oregon vehicle operator’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check. Salary is $12.50-$14.06 per hour, depending on experience, no benefits.
