Job description

Operates the PBX department and is the primary contact for all calls to the property. Will be responsible for maintaining a daily log. Answering all incoming calls in a pleasant and professional manner. Will also be tasked to route calls and work orders to various persons and departments.

1. Report on time and in uniform, properly groomed with appropriate name tag.

2. Maintain current and accurate PBX log on computer at all times.

3. Be responsive and professional over the phone and radio at all times.

4. Be able to assist with Front Desk duties in times of staffing emergency.

5. Be able to sit and answer phones for 8 hours a day/40 hours a week.

6. Keep updated on all emergency procedures and be comfortable being the point of contact in emergency situations.

7. Accept all mail; logging into Excel files and contacting Owners and Guests as needed.

8. Be able to handle all PBX duties included above and all projects given by management.

Job Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Must communicate in the English language (written and oral) to the understanding of customers, guests, and co-workers.

Experience

Competency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and the OPERA system. Familiar with the property and operations.

Pay: $20.00 - $20.96 per hour
