Job description

1. Responsible for processing all Employment Services’ Wage Audits, including 901As. Work

with authorities (e.g. IRS) on audits or requests.

2. Answer employee questions or complaints about salaries and payments.

3. Keys leave for all departments for each payroll.

4. Audits control sheets for each department including attendance records and other documents.

5. Audits timesheets for CLA.

6. Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order. Update

data with salary or wage adjustments.

7. Will cross train and back up for Payroll Specialist.

8. Assists Human Resources Director and projects as needed.

9. Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to plan, coordinate and communicate with all levels of internal and external customers. Strong interpersonal skills. Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with payroll preferred. Must be meticulous and detailed oriented.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex data and intricate state and federal laws associated with providing service to persons with disabilities. Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal/written skills.

The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
