Seeking a qualified full-time Payroll Specialist/ Office Admin to work in our fast paced, high volume finance department located in Shelton.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in multiple states ensuring all laws involving payroll and taxes are being met using ADP software (TotalSource)
  • Review timekeeper system for accuracy and confirm supervisor approvals
  • Enter data into payroll software and spreadsheets
  • Process paperwork related to new hires and terminations
  • Process paper checks as needed
  • Enter change requests as needed, i.e., direct deposit, tax forms
  • Enter employee related payroll changes, including rates, bonuses, and commissions
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll inquiries
  • Work directly with ADP to achieve organization goals as required
  • Prepare payroll reports for upper management as needed
  • Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues
  • Greets visitors welcoming and directing them appropriately
  • Maintains supplies and places orders as needed
  • Setup kitchen at start of workday
  • Maintain conference room schedule
  • Setup catering for meetings
  • Manage visitor badges
  • Assist Office Manager with ad hoc projects
