Responsible for properly performing financial activities related to payroll functions in a timely manner as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year related experience or professional training, two years of experience preferred.
• Six months of previous work experience in Gaming or Hospitality preferred.
• Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license from Osage Nation.
• Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
• Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS:

• Runs various payroll reports and payables reports including weekly check run reporting and demand checks that require additional signatory approval.
• Prepares corresponding checks for approved vouchers/invoices and payroll.
• Receives and processes various personnel forms such as paid time off, leaves of absence, transfers, status changes, new hires, separations, etc.
• Reviews, maintains documentation, and inputs garnishments, payroll changes to new hire and terminations, confidential pay rates, and wages.
• Creates and distributes payroll reports as needed.
• Creates and distributes time keeping reports and data and works directly with
• Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintains updated files of all documentation.
• Practices a high level of confidentiality
• Conducts necessary research to effectively resolve payroll issues.
• Maintains professional rapport and communication with employees, and auditors

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:

• Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
• Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, objectives of the Osage Nation, internal policies, and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, ONGR, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act, DOL, and Privacy Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to learn or experience in using multiple types of software including payroll, timekeeping and other systems required for duties assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Regularly uses personal computer systems and other devices to effectively perform job functions.
• Potential exposure to second-hand smoke.
• Evening and weekend shifts may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required. Work on holidays may be required.
• Noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
