HopeWest is a well-established non-profit organization that has a great new opportunity for an experienced payroll accountant. Come join our 400+ employees and be a part of our amazing seasoned finance team as we continue to grow our organization. The right person for this position will have the stamina to perform rigorous, repetitive analysis and activity of payroll functions and have knowledge and experience with bookkeeping and accounting processes.
SUMMARY:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Payroll/Accounting experience required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years accounting/finance experience. Experience with a variety of Financial Systems helpful.
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Superior problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of computer programs including accounting databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Must possess the ability to communicate concisely and effectively with Hospice departments regarding Finance Department activities.
- Must display the ability to use effective independent judgment and be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Valid Colorado driver’s License and unlimited access to reliable transportation.
- Adequate automobile insurance.
Pay and Benefits:
- Hiring wage: $27.13-$33.03/hour - this is an exempt/salaried position
