M Health Fairview is looking for Patient Transport for our University of MN Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN on the East Bank. The East Bank provides complex care to a diverse population and Patient Transport is responsible for transporting patients across the entire location to nursing stations, clinics, and other ancillary areas. This position is for a 0.7 FTE (56 hours per pay period) on the evening shift ( 230pm -11pm) with an every weekend rotation and is eligible for outstanding benefits such as shift differentials, health & wellbeing resources, great culture, and more!

Job Responsibilities:
Our patient transport team is responsible for:
- Transporting patients to and from locations throughout the University Campus to facilitate service and assure patient safety.
- Maintaining equipment and readiness to assure timely patient delivery.
- Demonstrating appropriate knowledge of safety protocols, infection control standards and emergency preparedness.
- Working with patients, families and all members of the medical team.
- Ensuring patient satisfaction by providing prompt and timely responses to all transport related tasks.
- Providing outstanding customer service to patients, families and all members of the medical team.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- Current BLS certification
