Azalea Orthopedics is looking for a Patient Services Representative to check-in and check-out patients at our Nacogdoches office. The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in a busy environment, and enjoy learning new things. No experience required but preferred. Main duties include:

  • Greeting patient and gathering all demographic information
  • Asking patient to complete any necessary paperwork
  • Scanning ID and insurance cards, entering insurance information into account
  • Checking patients in accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collecting co-payments or previous balances and setting patients up with a financial counselor when necessary
  • Communicating with patients with the utmost patience and empathy
  • Preparing paperwork and reviewing schedules in preparation for the next day
  • Communicating issues and questions to management when appropriate
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Learning and keeping current on insurance company requirements, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
