Duties & Responsibilities:
A Patient Care Technician blends the customer service responsibilities of a CSR and the functional expertise of a warehouse / delivery technician. A Patient Care Technician liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care and provides quality education, and equipment setup and instruction to patients and/or their caregivers in both office and home settings. - Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care
- Uses software systems to communicate effectively; keeps a record of all patient contacts
- Answers phone calls, returns voicemails, routes calls to proper team members, and corresponds with patients via email
- Performs referral operations such as order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior authorization, and/or scheduling
- Provides feedback to leaders to help improve business practices; assists in creating ways to deliver excellent customer service
- Loads, unloads, and transfers merchandise to designated warehouse area(s) as well as stocks and organizes merchandise and tags
- Pulls and packs supplies for mail out, restocks equipment, and records merchandise discrepancies
- Participates in inventory spot-, pre-, and final counts
- Maintains an orderly workplace, performing tasks such as moving pallets, sweeping, and disposing of debris
- Delivers and instructs patient on use of oxygen and other equipment
- Utilizes company’s mobile delivery platform for routing/dispatch and/or delivery of equipment and completion of corresponding paperwork

Requirements:About You -
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years customer service
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Previous healthcare experience preferred; Previous DME experience a plus
- 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
