Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time Patient Assistant (check-out) to join our team for the OBGYN Clinc location at Lakeview Hospital campus.
This position serves as patient advocate at the reception/check out desk of the clinics by performing check in, check out and scheduling duties. Duties include coordinating patient appointments, distributing patient’s after visit summaries, verifying/correcting patient insurance information, checking in patients, and performs related reception/scheduling duties as assigned. This position is expected to support the mission, goals and objectives of the Stillwater Medical Group. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Two years in a position interacting with the public, using telephones and computer required; Excellent interpersonal skills; Proven customer service skills and ability to provide excellent service to patients in a team oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with EPIC preferred; Knowledge of patient registration and insurance; Previous experience with patient scheduling and/or reception in a clinic setting preferred.
