We are currently looking for a full-time VPC Parts Specialist. This candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Safely operate a forklift.- Know basics of Clockwork.
- Properly inspect all parts for damage before moving.
- Knowledge of all mainframe screens necessary for transferring part quantities as needed.
- Perform all job functions in Vpik for One Stop.
- Perform all job functions in Vpik for Wheels.
- Perform all job functions in Vpik for PDS or Mat room (Talleyrand Only).
- Building 4Runner baskets for One Stop (Talleyrand Only).
- Trash duties for each area; one dedicated individual for this function (Talleyrand Only).
- Perform part counts when the area is slow, bring any discrepancies to the inventory control associates.
- Perform proper housekeeping of the area, including but not limited to trash compactor, cardboard bailer/compactor, and sweeping daily.
- Restock all parts in a timely manner including Lexus & TRD suspension kits and skid plates (Talleyrand Only).
- Be flexible to help with other areas when needed if time allows.
- Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle record; candidate must be safety minded.
- Proven computer skills required in order to check locations, scan parts, update quantities and more, in VPC computer systems.
- Previous VPC systems experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle physical requirements of the position including bending, twisting, lifting 50 – 75 pounds repeatedly and pushing/pulling. Able to walk & stand for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrate safe operation of baler, including emptying the baler.
- SET Certification required for forklift, stock chaser, pallet jack and tugger. If not already SET certified, must be SET certified within first 90 days.
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written) required. Must be able to write legibly, read and differentiate number series effectively.
- Demonstrated organizational skills required.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while performing effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent work and attendance record required. Must be dependable and report to work on time, with the ability to work overtime when needed.
- VPC Core hours are Monday - Friday / 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
