Maple Leaf Childcare is a family run business serving the community since 1988. We are currently looking for a nurturing, committed and responsible Assistant Toddler Teacher to educate and inspire children ages 2 years to 3 years old at our Burnt Hills location. Please note we have a current need in our older toddler room on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30-5:30, but we can likely be flexible to meet your needs as well.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing weekly lesson plans.
• Work as a team with Assistant Teachers to provide the best care possible for all children.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized classroom.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents on a daily basis.
• Change diapers, toilet training assistance, feed and care for a group of 10 toddlers ranging from 2 years to about 3 years.

Qualifications:

• Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field; CDA in Infant/Toddler
• Experience working with young children, preferably toddlers

OR

• Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
