Part-time or PRN Dental Hygienist
Job description
Wamego Dental Center has an opening for a part-time or PRN licensed dental hygienist! Our office is uptempo and thrives on teamwork. The successful candidate will be inviting, trustworthy, have an eye for detail and be a good problem solver.
Duties would include taking radiographs, comprehensive perio charting and performing proper and thorough treatment according to the patient's needs. Hygienist needs to be comfortable delivering local anesthesia. Also, we encourage our hygienists to help educate our patients. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis software are both a plus. We do not do assisted hygiene that would result in spending interrupted time with several patients an hour. Our hygienists have an hour with each patient where they deliver care from beginning to end. We feel this is the best way for our hygienists to have opportunities to get to know our patients.
Our work hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 4:30 with an hour lunch break. Come work at an office with a positive staff culture and family, small-town values.
