Family Tree Support Services is looking for a kind-hearted and energetic Nanny/ Household Manager for a family in Largo, MD. The right candidate will have experience working with children, the ability to take direction well and be comfortable helping with household cleanliness. While also being willing to follow the family's guidelines and values. Our ideal candidate will have patience, an understanding of the importance of keeping children safe and sound, and be willing to engage in playtime as often as possible.

Job Details:

Starting within the next two weeks

Household Manager/ Nanny for three children who enjoy sports, playing outdoors, video games & anime.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday; 1:30 - 8 pm & occasional hours on the weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals throughout the week for the family
• Children's laundry
• Changing the bedding in all of the rooms
• Cleaning the kitchen clean and tidy (i.e., washing the dishes, wiping the counter, etc.)
• Any additional household task the family needs to be done (within reason)
• Help with transporting the children to and from school or extracurricular activities
• Help with homework

Requirements:

• Medication Administration (i.e. inhaler, nebulizer, epi pen)
• Professional experience with children (ages 4-13)
• Understands child development
• Ability to work legally within the United States
• Be at least 21 years of age
• At least two professional references
• Willingness and commitment to be lawfully paid as a W-2 employee
• Ability to pass a background check & clean driving record
• Must be CPR & First Aid Certified or pay for certification.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Largo, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Nannying: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
