Janitronics takes cleaning for health seriously! We are avid in assisting our community in these highly health-aware times by hiring health-conscious individuals who want to make a difference into our service.

Location: Schenectady, NY (Off River Rd.)

Environment: Inside/Outside Buildings and Parking Lots

Shift: 7am-1pm Monday-Friday- possibility of scheduled weekend hours on rotation during winter months. (Shift may be altered to reflect snow & ice clean up during the winter months. Early arrival is needed.)

This is a union position that carries a 90 day probationary status to achieve permanency!

Must Have Valid NY Driver’s License to Drive On-Site Vehicles!

Must be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Year Round: Inspect and maintain all common area grounds including landscape areas, streets, walkways and trash enclosures, removing all trash.

Sweeps or wash common areas as directed. Use on-site vehicle to navigate from building to building.

Winter: Maintain common areas, vacant units, sidewalks and grounds including snow removal. Snow removal requires some heavy lifting, shoveling, salting, sanding and other physical requirements. Snow blowing equipment and training will be provided for its use.

• Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
• Record and report any damaged work equipment to management.
• Perform various tasks assigned by manager to keep building complex in clean and orderly fashion.

Requirements:

• Valid NY Driver's License (DMV Check)
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Background Check
• Same Day Drug Test
• Building Maintenance or Other Janitorial Experience Welcome
• Must have proper hygiene and display a coridal attitude around our customers.

Janitronics ensures safety and chemical-use training and all protocols prescribed by OSHA and the CDC are followed when we provide our cleaning teams with proper PPE (personal protective equipment) and utilizing EPA registered surface disinfectants.
