Part-Time Driver / Hauler

Hiring ASAP! No CDL Needed! Requirements:

Must be available on a biweekly schedule Monday - Friday week one & Tuesday, Thursday,

Friday week two - potential for full time weeks to cover shifts

Reliable transportation

HOURS

We are currently in need of a part-time driver, with the potential to become full-time. A standard driver's license is required, but no commercial driving license (CDL) is needed. You will be required to be proficient in driving and navigating Chittenden, Franklin, and Lamoille Counties using a GPS.

As we gain new customers, our routes are constantly changing. For this reason, we can only estimate the exact amount of hours it takes each day to complete a route. We aim for each pickup route to be no longer than 6.5 hours, with dumping typically taking about 1 hour. This is one of the reasons why pickup routes are only 6.5 hours long, to account for morning prep, meals, and dumping.

Additional hours are available for bucket and lid cleaning / refurbishment. You will not be required to do this work, but the additional hours will be available for any employee that desires more hours and pay.

This position will be paid hourly beginning at $20/hour, and employees that work overtime (more than 40 hours in one week) are paid 1.5 times their hourly wages for overtime hours. This position is guaranteed at least 24 hours per week, with the opportunity to become full time if a

position opens up, or our routes grow to allow more working hours. There will also be opportunities to advance hourly pay based on performance.

LOCATION

We are currently operating out of 20 Susie Wilson Rd in Essex Junction. Employees are expected to be at this location and clocked in by 6:45AM. We aim for all vehicles to be leaving by 7am, so it is best to arrive by 6:45am or sooner. The dump closes at 3:30pm, so our day is almost always completed before 4pm.

WAGES

The pay rate will be between $20-$23 per hour based on previous driving / delivery experience, and the performance of your work after training. Driving and hauling training takes roughly 4-6 hours, or until you are able to complete a route on your own. We offer monthly bonuses to drivers based on attendance, efficiency, and a clean driving record.

CONVENIENCES

This job is a balance of demanding and relaxed. Weekends off are guaranteed. We are also very flexible with time off requests, offered on a first come first serve basis when given proper notice. As stated in the video, we allow restroom and food breaks at any time while driving within 4 miles of the pickup route, as long as this information is recorded using the Paychex

App. Our vehicles are tracked by GPS and the data is logged for our reference.

Our vehicles are equipped with phone chargers, radio, and bluetooth speakers. Employees are allowed and encouraged to listen to the music or podcasts of their choosing as they accomplish their daily tasks.
