Part-Time Cross-Trained Dental Assistant/Receptionist Needed in Elk Grove Village, IL

Our family dental practice is looking for a friendly, outgoing, skilled, team-oriented cross-trained dental assistant/receptionist. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive care and customer service.

Our office currently has 2 receptionists and 2 dental assistants and we are looking for a cross-trained dental assistant/receptionist who can handle both positions working 1-3 days/week. Most of the time, receptionist duties will be needed, but we need someone who can periodically assist, take x-rays, set up rooms.

HOURS AVAILABLE:

• Monday - Thursday from 9:00am-6:30pm
• 1-3 Days offered.
• Hours are flexible, but need someone for at least 1 evening per week
• Some experience at a previous dental office is Required

Must be comfortable/job duties:

• Taking digital x-rays including FMX
• Four-handed assisting
• Coronal polishing
• Comfortable using computers
• Providing pre- and post-op instructions to patients after procedures
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Calling insurance companies to follow-up on claims and verify insurance
• Collecting patient co-pays

Compensation:

• Hourly compensation based on experience. $21-24/hr based on experience
• Paid-Time-Off hours after working for 6 months
