Choober Doobers is seeking "Assistant" for 30-35h per week. You should love spending quality time engaging with children and young toddlers. We rarely exceed a 1:3 ratio and have all sorts of home-cooked yummy meals, story time, open-gym, free play, music classes, STEM experiments, Spanish sessions, theme cooking/baking projects, theme weeks etc. We offer a structured and sane adult/child ratio, very competitive pay, and a friendly, loving environment. You will work with babies, young toddlers, preschoolers, PreK kids and elementary school kids along with 5-6 other teachers and the owner.

Required:
● A passion for early childhood education, patience, and a willingness to learn and lead fun physical activities, educational theme activities, engaging group activities and all kind of age appropriate activities
● Must have completed (or be 'in progress' upon hire) DCYF background check and STARS ID.
● At least 1 year of experience working with young children

What's nice to have:

● If you play sports, play music instruments, are bilingual, like to sing, teach yoga/gymnastics for young children you should absolutely apply.

● You might be able to work on Sunday for 2-2.5 hours

● You are kind, honest, hard worker, multi tasking, organized, creative, able to nicely work with other teachers. We believe in "team work". We have a GREAT team but look for more teachers who enjoy working with 1:3 and less adult per child ratio in a mixed-age group of children ages from birth-12 years old.
