Kennedy Care is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform daily administrative tasks to support the in-office team, including: the office employees, management, and field staff. The ideal candidate will have the desire to help others, be resourceful by nature and have the desire to learn new skills. The Administrative Assistant will assist the internal team, as well as current and potential clients. The Administrative Assistant will be the Gatekeeper of the Kennedy Care office. As an Administrative Assistant, you will answer phone inquiries and direct them to the appropriate program.

Essential Functions:

  • Answers the main office phone line and directs all calls.
  • Manages the office supplies and orders additional supplies when needed.
  • Ensures mail gets to the appropriate party.
  • Keeps the office clean - including conference rooms, kitchen, and reception area.
  • Supports program operations in special projects as requested.
  • Greets and assists visitors and notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Anticipates the needs of a busy team and helps them be more productive, leading to company success.
  • Keeps sensitive information confidential with an understanding of who has access to particular information.
  • Uses persuasive communication skills necessary to collect essential information, answer questions, and direct callers to appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manages multiple tasks and time effectively, and prioritizes office needs.
  • Resolves time-sensitive issues using excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Acts as a liaison and builds positive relationships with Clients and other cross -functional stakeholders.
  • Runs errands, manages deliveries, and manages returns as needed.
  • Builds relationships both internally and external using their aptitude for service.
  • Coordinates with the IT department on all office equipment and assists with technology requests from employees as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.

Requirements:Requirements

  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail that are used to coordinate workload around complex assignments.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the Google Suite is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
