Located in Friday Harbor and Eastsound, our experienced optometrist and staff members leverage the most advanced diagnostic technology to assist in eye exams, vision correction, medical eye care, ocular disease treatment, fitting designer eyewear and more.

Job Summary:

We are searching for a motivated team member to join our fast paced, energetic practice. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated data entry driven. This person should have a background in medical assisting, hold (or be able to obtain) a current MA Certification, and be willing to learn. While experience is preferred, we will be filling this career position with a candidate who is flexible and wanting to grow in this industry.

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 / hr DOE
Position: Full Time
Location: 425 Caines St Ste B, Friday Harbor, WA 98250

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• CPR and Medical Assistance Certification (required within the first 2 months of employment)
• 1 Year experience in eye care or another medical field (preferred)

Some duties may include:

• Medical history taking
• Scribing and attaching diagnostic imaging to patient charts
• Requesting and sending chart notes
• Scheduling follow up appointments
• Sanitation
• Operating OCT, Optos, and Visual Fields
• Perform visual acuity, blood pressure, and interocular pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
