Job description
What You’ll Do
Perform high level painting of interior/exterior surfaces for protection and decoration by patching, texturing, priming, sanding and/or caulking.
Responsible for operating and cleaning paint equipment, including scaffoldings, sanders, sprayers, compressors, brushes, rollers, etc.
Spread drop cloths, move furnishings, equipment, or other obstacles to protect equipment and surrounding area.
Remove fixtures and other items from walls to finish and refinish woodwork and cabinets.
Maintain knowledge of changing facilities methods, codes, and products to ensure adherence on all projects.
Maintain basic knowledge of chemical safety, material safety data sheets, and small spill cleanup.
What it Takes
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
5+ years of related work experience
Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Experience providing guidance and direction to subcontractors.
Ability to manage multiple items, prioritize effectivesly, and react to change orders.
Time management and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills.
