Position Summary:

Quirch Foods is looking for an experienced packaging Coordinator who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of packaging operations within the company. This role involves thriving in deadline- driven environments, and managing the entire lifecycle of creative project, photography projects, packaging costs and production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare documentation to begin package development and track progress to meet deadlines.

· Develop and implement packaging procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and consistent packaging operations.

· Monitor and manage compliance with current packaging regulation in the U.S alongside the quality assurance team.

· Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to develop packaging designs that align with branding and product requirements.

· Manage inventory of packaging materials, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

· Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure accurate labeling, proper packaging, and adherence to product specifications.

· Work with vendors to reduce costs where possible.

· Follow up on pending information from suppliers and/or printers, i.e., missing specification information, cost estimate agreements, invoices, feedback on routing proofs, etc.

Qualification, Skills, and Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

· Proven experience in packaging operations, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods industry.

· Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and industry best practices.

· Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

· Knowledge of graphic design practices and processes across print and web

· Technology, internet platforms, and social media savvy

· An understanding of creative copy and content writing aimed at consumer goods (preferred not required)

· Experience in the food industry

· Bilingual (English and Spanish)
