POSITION:
Outreach Specialist, OE009, Academic Staff, Renewable, 75% FTE
This position is eligible for hybrid work consideration. Currently eligibility requires residency in one of the following states: Wisconsin or Minnesota upon hire.
DUTIES:
Delivers and assists with planning outreach program activities, strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. May assist with tracking and managing the outreach program budget.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- At least two years of professional experience
- Valid driver’s license
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Current knowledge in mindfulness and well-being
- Experience in an education setting

Willingness and interest in utilizing technology in the classroom strongly preferred. - Knowledge of general market analysis and/or needs assessment concepts.

- Strong interpersonal/professional skills; able to maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to use creativity to complete tasks.
- Ability to plan and execute events.
- Ability to cooperate and collaborate with professional partners.
- Ability to demonstrate self-direction and the capacity for independent work on multiple projects.
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and communities.
- Ability to commit to the highest level of professionalism, ethical standards, confidentiality and sensitivity to information and records.
- Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings or weekends, with overnight travel as needed.
