We are a subcontractor for Southern California's local natural gas, electric, and water utility companies. We have teamed up with these utility companies to provide their customers with measures/items that we install to reduce the home's electricity, water, and natural gas usage. We are seeking a highly driven and motivated applicant to join our team. As an Outside Marketer/Canvasser, you will be responsible for canvassing neighborhoods (knocking door to door), educating customers regarding no-cost programs available in their area, and presenting a friendly face to our customers. You will be responsible for attending ongoing training, remaining knowledgeable about ongoing programs, and scheduling appointments for assigned technician (s). Our Outside Marketer/ Canvassers are a vital part of our team in ensuring customers are properly educated regarding energy savings measures while promoting a friendly and outgoing attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Convey products and services effectively to customers in person
• Convey the benefits of the services available to customers, training provided
  
• Canvass (knocking door to door), distribute program literature and schedule a technician for a minimum of 5 daily appointments
• Attend bi-weekly video and in-person training
• Become certified and badged for the Energy Savings Assistance Programs
  
• Keep in regular communication with the office, assigned technician, and marketing manager
• Have a friendly, positive, and outgoing attitude
• Remain knowledgeable about current and ongoing programs within the company
• Maintain a presentable and professional appearance
  
• Driving to different areas within the LA area to offer no-cost programs

Territory:

• Chatsworth/ LA Area

Qualifications:

• Ability to look presentable and speak clearly
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Access to reliable transportation
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
  
• Client management experience recommended
• Basic computer and iPad skills
• Pass Drug and background screening
