The Outpatient Surgery Center at Lee County Healthcare Center is actively recruiting for several Licensed Practical Nurses. We offer excellent benefits and pay. We have a recruitment incentive of $7,000 for qualified applicants and the best LPN to BSN scholarship program available.
As a Outpatient Surgery Center Clinic LPN you will be responsible for the intake, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of all surgical patients within your assigned area within the clinic including:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
- Provide medication administration including immunizations
- Screen patients for COVID-19
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in surgical nursing
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have graduated from a nursing program approved by the state
- Have current American Heart Association/RQI BLS.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,615.00 - $62,413.00 per year
